I am an experienced business professional, who has developed the people management skills I learned during 20 years as an insolvency practitioner working for the Big 5 firms of accountants, to apply to businesses and individuals, helping them achieve their own life objectives, improve their performance and fulfil their potential.

Having run several businesses in receivership, and subsequently sold them as going concerns, I understand the concerns of staff, customers, directors, financiers and the insolvency team itself, and I was able to provide focus and reassurance with a balance of firmness and sensitivity, during some stressful situations.

Now, as a full time coach, I have helped clients to:

I combine qualifications and experience from the hard-edged world of insolvency, (I was the second woman in the UK to qualify as a Member of the Insolvency Practitioners Association) with excellent people development skills. I hold a Bsc. (Hons) in Psychology from the Open University, a Diploma in Business Performance Coaching from Newcastle College and the accredited LCH Diploma from Achievement Specialists. I have coached more than 500 hours since qualification, and am constantly researching ways to help my clients live the lives they really want.

And I walk my talk! I now apply all this theory in my own life, living according to my own values, enjoying a balanced, happy life and doing fulfilling, satisfying work which I love. I am particularly interested in helping business owners learn self care, manage their stress and avoid burn-out, having seen the consequences so often during my previous working life (and personally.)
